We have a Lavazza Modo Mio coffee machine with problems: Its overheating quickly & steam comes out of top. ?!
Has anyone any idea what is going on as we love our machine and can't have coffee from it now? Hot water splurges out inconsistently... Could it have anything to do with the thermostat? We would like to fix it if possible so answers welcome. Thanks

You could rule out a furred up insides by descaling.
Run some descaler solution through it a couple of times and then lots of clean water to flush out remaining descaler
