Do you say Pop, Soda, or Soda Pop?!

Soda

I go round and round with people on that. I'm from St. Louis, MO, and I have always called it soda. I'm going out with a girl from Kansas City and she calls it pop. It don't sound right to call it pop but that's because I'm from St. Louis and everybody I know calls it soda. We never call it soda pop, just plain soda.

I'm Canadian. If I ever have to use one of those terms, it would be pop, but normally I go for the brand name ex: Pepsi, Coke, 7Up, Mountain Dew etc...

Pop, North West, Soda, South East. Other names. Pepsi, Coke, Dr Pepper, 7 up.
