If you mean totally leave the cap off, then it'll lose a bit of punch, but most of the carbonation should remain. Just make sure the cap on the bottle is really tight to help retain the carbonation, but note that after about a full 24 hours or so, the soda will eventually go flat once that seal's been broken.
Bottom line: Overnight? Just leave the cap on tight, and you should be okay. You may even be okay without the cap if you don't jostle the bottle through the night.
Why would you leave it open? Don't do that. It will go flat.
