The boiling point of water is 100 degrees c. Some people don't know this so no, your not stupid.
At sea level, water boils at 212 degrees Fahrenheit, or 100 degrees centigrade.
Below sea level, the boiling point of water increases.
Above sea level, the boiling point decreases.
