Can I use hot glue to reseal glass coca-cola bottles?!

Question: Can I use hot glue to reseal glass coca-cola bottles?
I'm trying to find a cheap way to reseal GLASS, not plastic, coca-cola bottles. My friend suggested hot gluing them but I wasn't sure if that would actually seal it and keep it from evaporating or not?

I can't afford any machines to reseal them and am trying to find alternatives. So would hot glue or some other kind of adhesive do the trick?

Answers:

I think that should work fine, if not, use a bottle sealer. As for the other answer that suggested this, they were lying to you. The bottler sealers that are EFFICENT, are not that cheap. The nicer ones cost over hundreds, but you can fine some that will do the trick for under 50. However, I would go with the hot-glue, that should work.

All you need is a little hand held cap crimper to put the caps back on. They are at beer brewing supply stores. I think the one I have was 7 or 8 dollars.
