well kinda depends where you going, but bubble tea does not taste like tea. it's essentially smoothie or icee with marble sized tapioca jellies. I think it's great, if you don't like the taste of the jellies you can easily drink around them because they are typically poured into the bottom of the cup

Think of tea-meets-Jello. The bubbles are gelatinous pieces in the tea. Never had one, so I cannot comment on the taste, but that is how they are served in East Lansing at a bubble tea cafe.

no, its totaly different. it has some beans in it like tapyoca pudding in it.

There are many variants of bubble tea.
It can be milk tea, ice blended fruit juice or iced milk.
