How bad would 1 can of an energy drink (e.g. Monster, Red Bull) be to teens and preteens?!

Question: How bad would 1 can of an energy drink (e.g. Monster, Red Bull) be to teens and preteens?
I just had 1 can, and the caffeine isn't really affecting me at all. Anything I should be worried about? Is it okay to have one as often as Gatorade, or like once a month?

Answers:

Energy drinks are just plain bad for you. Just a sugar/caffiene rush. Drink tea, as that is very good for you and has caffeine. Also, energy drinks oftentimes contain Phenylananine, which is bad for you. However, once in awhile won't hurt, don't make it a daily ritual.

You will be fine drinking one energy drink a month. Honestly you will be fine.
