shoud hot boiling water be poured in? once the water cools down theres still a slight taste of plastic.

There are chemicals released that disrupt the hormones of the body. the hormones like insulin, & the thyroid glands, & sex hormones too. I have experienced cough too in those using plastics.

It would have to be restaurant grade plastic, called carb-X, hte type used for beer. other than that, I would not put in boiling water. Besides, any jug that gives off plastic taste with hot water should not be used. You need to wash them in hot water

Unless it is designed to have boiling water in then don't put boiling water in, why would you want to do that anyway with a water jug?
