If you took brewed coffee and put it back in the water tank in the coffee pot???!

Question:

If you took brewed coffee and put it back in the water tank in the coffee pot???

Okay, stick with me here. If you brewed a pot of coffee and then replaced the filter and coffee grounds with new and then used that brewed coffee where the water would normally go and ran it through again would you get more caffeine from it? Or would it be the same and just really nasty? (Man, that was a run on sentence if I've ever seen one. LOL)

Answers:
it would have more caffiene because its super strong coffee. my boyfriend did that for me on my birthday. it accually wasn't that bad.

It would be VERY strong!

It would get stronger but the part of the coffee maker that exposes the water to heat might get gummed up with the coffee.

If you want stronger coffee just use more coffee relative to water (e.g. run 3 cups of water through 6 tablespoons of coffee instead of through 3 tablespoons). It will probably taste terrible though.

to get stronger caffeinated coffee

Just by a bolder blend of coffee. Most coffees are just a regular blend, the bolder coffee gives a stronger (nice) tastes and more caffeine

You probably would but the coffee would be awfully strong. If you like strong coffee that's a good way to do it, but I would clean out thecoffee maker really well ,or you could ruin it from all the debree.
