How do I use a coffee press?!

Question:

How do I use a coffee press?

I got one at a gift exchange party, but it doesn't have any directions. Can anyone walk me through how to make a great cup of coffee with this?

Thank you!

Answers:
Heat your water to just about boiling temperature.
Place ground coffee in pot... about 1 Tbsp. per cup to be brewed.
Pour hot water over coffee grounds.
Put the lid back on the french press, leaving the plunger up.
Leave the coffee to steep until desired strength is reached (several minutes).
Slowly, press down the plunger, straining out the coffee grounds.
Serve and enjoy.

Even after you've pressed down the plunger, your coffee will continue to grow stronger. If you let it sit too long in the pot, it will get bitter. Serve immediately.

put 11/2 teaspoons of coffee grounds for each cup of coffee up to enough for 8 cups of of coffee into coffee pot, heat 8 cups of water to just boiling, pour boiling water into coffee pot, put press on top and gently press until press touches grounds. enjoy your coffee.
