Does freezing kill germs?!

Question:

Does freezing kill germs?

my 3-year old son drank from my Ozarka water bottle, I put what was left in the freezer, will it be ok for me to drink from it in the morning if he has a cold

Answers:
Freezing will prohibit the growth of bacteria unless they are what's called "sporific," which means in their own little protective shell. But cold germs don't sporify. Come on, live a little and go for it!

It will cause the germs to become very slow and many will die, but when warmed back up they will continue to breed and cause sicknesses.

no, freezing means it stays still. Most organisms die in extream heat not extream cold. Including germs.

Some bacteria can survive freezing.

they will be dormant until they warm up then they will be active again so i wouldn't.
