Do American, British, German and French drinks Chinese Tea?!

Question:

Do American, British, German and French drinks Chinese Tea?

Chinese tea is drink without sugar, usually. And some people said that American, Bristish, German and French doesn't drink tea without sugar or they don't drink tea if it's not sweet. I would like to know, if this is true, will they ever accept chinese tea. And if they do accept chinese tea, what is the major reason?

Answers:
im 1/2 chinese and 1/2 "american"...and i drink tons of chinese tea....i think it just depends how open a person is. regardless where theyre from, if there interested in other cultures and are willing to try new things, then, yes they will accept chinese tea. traditionally europeans may drink tea with milk and sugar (and most their tea is from india, by the way), but thats not a rule.

the answer to your question would be the same as the following: would chinese people ever accept sweetened tea?

I'm Chinese born in America, so yeah, I drink Chinese tea. LOL

I'm about as generic Midwest, white American as they come....I love all kinds of teas. Many Americans drink a variety of tea.

Not here in Michigan where I live, but in the southern states in our country: think Georgia, Florida, North and South Carolina...there is an iced tea that is very popular and it's basically called "sweet tea"

If you go to a restaurant there you are almost always going to get a glass of sweet tea when you order "Iced Tea" It's a highly sweetened, cold tea based drink. Some are good and some are sickening because they contain so much sugar.

Where I live, we usually drink iced tea in the summer and some people sweeten it but the restaurants serve it without sugar usually.

In the summer we mix a lot of tea drinks. 1/2 iced tea mixed with 1/2 lemonade is called an "Arnold Palmer" after a famous golfer who likes that drink. We also mix cold iced tea with fruit juices, peach or mango nectar and other flavorings.

In the cooler months and in the morning or evening people often drink hot fragrant tea...plain or with sugar. Some add lemon or milk.

I like to mix fresh brewed green tea with ice and cinnamon and ginger and a bit of honey. It's zingy without being too sweet.

I'm American, and I've always enjoyed my tea straight. I hate it with sugar or sweeteners. Also, my favorite teas are actually light eastern teas: green, white, oolong, jasmine, etc.

In fact, I used to work in a coffee/tea shop here in America, and once when a British couple ordered some hot teas―I was trying to be nice and cater to what I thought was standard British taste―I offered them cream and sugar. They were actually offended!

I'm half British and American, I know loads of people who drink Chinese tea. Actually from experience most people have tea without sugar.

I personnally love teas. Especially Green Teas. I drink about 3 small tea pots a day. My parents are big in Teas and Herbal drinks and have raised me with that.

(oops I am french).

i am american/german & live in germany, i like tea & i need sugar! don′t know about chinese tea...

Some people do but I do not drink tea of any kind much.

I know some people that do.....
