Question:

How much water should I drink daily?

I am a 17 year old guy who weights about 130 pounds.

Answers:
1/2 your body weight (pounds) in ounces of water per day.
That's 65 ounces for you - just over 1/2 gallon! Chug-a-lug!

"A significant fraction of the human body is water. This body water is distributed in different compartments in the body. Lean muscle tissue contains about 75% water. Blood contains 83% water, body fat contains 25% water and bone has 22% water."
(From Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/body_water... )

Notice that your body is mostly WATER - not coffee, not tea, not soda, not GatorAde. Give it what it's thirsty for and you'll have gone a LONG way to keeping it healthy and in good maintenance.

they say that most people should drink 8 glasses a day. really i could nvr do that, but if you can, go you

At least 64 ounces (2 liters) of water or liquid without caffeine or sugar.

eight glasses is the norm to be healthy, but keep in mind the water you eat in fruit and other foods is a portion of that eight glasses. try to drink as much as you can so you wont dehydrate yourself

Dietary recommendations. The Institute of Medicine advises that men consume roughly 3.0 liters (about 13 cups) of total beverages a day and women consume 2.2 liters (about 9 cups) of total beverages a day.

it is generally the case that if you drink enough fluid so that you rarely feel thirsty and produce between one and two liters of colorless or slightly yellow urine a day, your fluid intake is probably adequate.

Factors that influence water needs
* Exercise.
* Environment.
* Illnesses or health conditions.
* Pregnancy or breast-feeding.

listen to your body. If it is thirsty, drink some water. Avoid the sugary and alcoholic drinks and try to stick as close to the basic H2O that you can. If your outdoors and sweating, you may not feel thirsty, but keep hydrated... drink fluids often and there shouldn't be a problem.

8 glasses of water a day is recomended.

8 -8 oz. glasses

I'm turning 43 on the 12th and I have been drinking 64 oz. of bottle or filtered water since high school. I look ten years younger and as long as you space them out, you won't have to worry about running to the bathroom, every few minutes.
They do have Green Tea to go by Lipton. You add it to your water, if you prefer taste.
Oh seltzer and water are interchangeable
