What should i do, my son didn't like to drink cow's milk?!

Question:

What should i do, my son didn't like to drink cow's milk?

Answers:
Have him eat calcium chews. They are chocolate flavored most of the time.

find other sources of calcium. it's just as well; milk has some problems. it's got too much saturated fat i think.

have him try soy milk or rice milk

what i did i take these things called calicium bears and they are sour and thry look and taste like gummy bears 2 of the things equal 2 cups of milk

Give him whiskey. It'll put lead in his pencil and hair on his chest.

Well...cow's milk is delicious....firstly, why your son didn't like to drink cow's milk? secondly, what type of milk he likes? if he didn't like cow's milk that means he don't like to drink milk...so, don't give him drink milk. Is there any problem if he didn't like to drink milk? are you always force him to drink milk? and how old is your son?

Try Soy Milk with perhaps chocolate powder in it. Get one with added calcium in it, that's the part of the milk that he needs for his bones to stay strong and healthy. Don't make him drink cow's milk, maybe he's lactose intolerant?? A lot of people are and just don't realise.

I'd go for soy milk as well, its very refreshing and has a slighlty nutty flavor and the benefits are practically endless.

definitely try soy milk, especially if it is just because he doesn't like the taste. It comes in vanilla, which is what i would recommend. My sister raised my nephew on soy milk after breast feeding, and he now drinks cow's milk and soy milk (he's 5). I honestly don't know what the exact health benefits were, but she was told by her pediatrician to do this. If he still won't drink the vanilla soy, try some other kind of flavoring. Even chocolate soy milk is better than no milk at all!

try givin him some kids health drink....like milo...or hot chocolate...or simply try creamy buffalos milk....yum

I would do as others have said and try soy or rice milk. It can be found in most supermarkets on the shelves in boxes. It is also in the dairy case, but if you get it from the shelves you can store it longer without having to keep it all in the fridge. Check the label in the brand you decide on and see if you may need to add a calcium supplement. Also, add foods rich in calcium. Introduce them a little at a time. Good Luck

There are lots of different kinds of milk. Soy milk, cow milk, goat's milk, almond milk, rice milk. Try something different. Also other foods can provide him with the calcium he needs like green leafy vegetables for example. Cow's milk has a lot of saturated fat in it and is not necessary.
