Question:

Wats the main ingredient for J-ello?

Answers:
Gelatin- it's what gives it that jiggly consistency.

Water.

Gelatin. It is what makes the liquid turn to the jelly consistency.

Sugar in the first ingredient, then gelatin. Here's the list from a pack of cherry jell-o:

Sugar, Gelatin, Adipic Acid (For Tartness), Contains Less Than 2% Of Artificial Flavor, Disodium Phosphate And Sodium Citrate (Control Acidity), Fumaric Acid (For Tartness), Red 40, Blue 1.

boiled water and jello mix. look on the ingtredients, the first one is the main ingredient. for future refrence, the ingredients are listed by amount used in the food

gelatin

Gellatin that is extracted from pork or beef's bones...YUCK

Definitely water. You need more than 2 cups water per pack of powder, so that's your main ingredient.

gelatin

The main ingredient - once it's made - is probably water.

But I do know that it has animal hooves in it (Really!) - so if you are a vegetarian - you shouldn't eat it.

water!

essentially, it is boiled and filtered bones, joints and hides of animals. collagen containing parts.

water

Sugar, Gelatin, Adipic Acid (For Tartness), Contains Less Than 2% Of Artificial Flavor, Disodium Phosphate And Sodium Citrate (Control Acidity), Fumaric Acid (For Tartness), Red 40, Blue 1

Here is something to remember. The ingredients that are listed in a package are always listed in the order that they contain the most of.....the most here would be sugar..then gelatin.
