In what ways does pepsi/coke harm you?

Answers:
i heard it rots your teeth :-\

It puts weight on you. Empty calories. I hear that if you drink one soda a day,you will gain 15 lbs. in one year.

The phosporic acid inhibits bone health and growth in kids.

Well, coke can eat the rust off of a bathtub..Thats enough info for me to stay away from it..How bout you?

Cola's are extrememly acidic. They can cause upset stomach and digestion problems. Not to mention the effects of sugar intake (1 can of pepsi is equivilant to 10 tsps of sugar) caffeine effects (heightened awareness/ hyper vigilance and withdrawal)

it doesnt really 15 pounds maybe in muscle. i drink 5 a day so is it75 im gonna calll u

The carbonic acid burns the linings of your teeth and stomach. Not good. Also, sodas have tons of corn syrup and caramel color additives and no nutrition. It also contains caffeine, which you can become addicted to.

I guess Carbonic formed when CO2 combines with water will takes its toll in the long run

Let's see, the caffeine can leave you dehydrated, too much sugar if you drink regular, too many calories, it stains your teeth, the carbonation can lead to brittle bones, you are then less likely to drink milk, which is healthy.

Well, the acid can ruin your teeth and even your digestive tract.
