Why does coke shoot out when the bottle is frozen?!

Question:

Why does coke shoot out when the bottle is frozen?

I need to know the SCIENTIFIC reason behind the above question. Just bought a bottle of diet coke today which was about 80% frozen. When I opened the bottle at home, coke inside flooded out till the bottle was empty.

Answers:
with the freezing process, tha liquid will freeze leaving the gas a lot more concentrated,it will resemble a soda syphon be careful with the cheaper frozen fizzy drinks, when you open it the cap it may fire at you like a bullet with no exageration, you could lose an eye, hope not.

The frozen Coke around it expands and squeezes the Coke that isn't frozen yet. It all shoots out when the bottle is opened.

Of course dear...coke is a type of carbonated drink which contain gas. When you start to open them, they might be 50% of coke (included gas) will flood out from the bottle. Don't worry, you can still enjoy you drink!!

dont worry i love SO ICED coke cos it needs air!
