Chai Latte?!

Question:

Chai Latte?

I have a pretty good recipe for a Chai Latte that rivals Starbucks.

You need to add spices, teabags, water and milk and bring all ingredients to a boil. I don't make it often as it takes a while to bring it all to a boil on the stove and on one occasion, the entire pot boiled over.

Starbucks uses a machine that takes less then a minute to bring the mixture to a boil.

Anyone know if there is a personal unit available at low cost?

Check this one out they steam theirs. For 69.99 you can't beat that! It looks like a pretty neat machine to!

Try putting the teabags and spices in your coffee maker, where the filter normally goes, and the water and milk where the water goes. Ive been doing this for years, just be sure to run pure water through after .... Gonna share the recipe?

what? we dont "bring the mixture to a boil" what you may think is boiling it the milk steaming... we dont steam the whole drink. thats un sanitary.. we use the chia syrup, half hot water and half steamed milk.. you seem a bit ignorant as to how the drinks are made.

but i do not know of a low cost espresso machine. (those are the only machines i know of that can steam milk) and yes they are pretty pricey... =\
