What*s better for you ?!

Question:

What*s better for you ?

tea or coke & why ?

Answers:
Tea. No sugar or unpronounceable words for chemicals.
Plus despite the caffeine, tea has beneficial anti-oxidants. Green tea is actually now a "health food" along with herbal teas, and no one speaks too badly about black tea either--- just be careful of not staining your teeth. (coke, on the other hand, rots your teeth)

Depends, neither one is suddenly going to cure your ills.

But Green Tea has been shown to have some health benefits. Of course if you're putting lots of sugar into it, that would negate most of those benefits. So basically it matters what you are adding to it.
As far as Coke goes, if you are drinking regular than obviously you're getting the calories, etc... but if you're drinking Diet Coke than that would be better than regular.

Really just common sense, isn't it?

coke because in my opinion tea is tastless

Herbal Tea is good for you. I never known of ways that Coke is good for you...

tea it has antioxidents that coke doesn't have. Although coke will dissolve a nail if you have that problem.

I would say tea, especially herbal tea because it does not contain caffeine and herbal tea can do different things for your body. Some teas relax you, some teas energize you, some teas heal you.

Tea..when you're not in a rush.
Coke when you're thirsty and want something cold to drink with flavor

Tea, less sodium

coke....i hate tea

tea is good when you're having lunch with Aunt Whoever. Coke with friends!!! (Rum and coke!!!)

Tea is better for you. If you don't add sugar. Coke is loaded with sugar. Plus carbonated water isn't always good for you.

tea, because some of them have antioxidants and that helps prevent many diseases and is good for your body. coke is high in sugar, has carbonated water, and has high fructose corn syrup

soo.. tea is healthier

tea has vitamins, but more caffine than coke
they both stain your teeth about the same
I don't drink anything with caffine or sugar,
so I really don't know about the taste.

tea . has no calories. cleans out your system of toxins
eases upset stomachs
is good for congestion
coke . sugar. flavored water....

Tea has many natural herbal ingredients And it helps Arthritis.

Coke has sugar and caffeine. Rots teeth if you drink more than 1 can a day, no matter how many times you brush your teeth.

I like coke better but it may not be better for you.

For the most part tea is better. It has caffiene like coke but also contains antioxidents which are good for you too.

If you're goind solely off of taste, I would say Coke no matter what.

But considering you are asking what is BETTER for you, the answer is Tea, as long as it is the right kind.

1) Tea is the most commonly consumed beverage in the world after water.-- Funny, considering it is basically FLAVORED WATER. Anyways...

2) All teas contain anitoxidents which may help protect our body from free radical damage-- free radicals are known to be the cause of numerous cancers and other serious problems.

3) Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79%, and one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer. WATER is in TEA, and COKE can DEHYDRATE you due to the carbonation.

4) According to the American Dietetic Association, a cup of tea contains an average of 40mg of caffeine, compared to 85mg as found in a cup of freshly brewed coffee. Caffeine has been proven to be good for you, but ONLY IN MODERATION.

5) Coke has about 34mg caffeine-- but it also has high amounts of sugar which when burnt off can cause "sugar crashes"- refering to alternately high then low amounts of sugar in your blood that promote tiredness and grumpyness.

Interesting fact about Coke: In many states (in the USA) the highway patrol carries two gallons of coke in the truck to remove blood from the highway after a car accident. (Unproven, however, it is reasonable to assume that it's true since phosphoric acid can dissolve rust and grease and was used by the steel industry to clean products.)
