How do you make a capuchino?!

Question:

How do you make a capuchino?

I have a machine, but after i make the coffee, what do I put in it, or on it? Also, how do you make an espresso or Latte? thank you in advance for your answers.

Answers:
from a coffee shop owner...

a good cappuccino, espresso, latte, etc... is all in the preparation.

* beans - first, make sure you use a good bean... but good is just a matter of preference... if you have a local coffee shop, they'll usually sell you their house espresso.
* grind - your espresso should be very finely ground. if you don't have your own grinder, your local shop should be able to do it for you.
* tamping - make sure your espresso is WELL packed before brewing. imagine putting 50 lbs of pressure down on your espresso.
* brew - enough to make a shot.. or a "long" shot. but no more.

for a latte:

* steam - in a steaming pitcher, pour enough milk to fill your cup (minus espresso) put the pitcher under your steam wand. using an espresso thermometer, steam the milk to approx 170 degrees, or to preference. make sure to only put your steam want tip into the milk about an inch. the milk should swirl in the pitcher. avoid too much pressure (you'll know because the sound it makes will be deafening in the pitcher) it should be relatively quiet.
* combine - stir milk into espresso in cup... using spoon to reserve most of the foam on top in the pitcher.
for a cappuccino:

(this is like a latte but with more foam)
* steam - use half as much milk as you would for a latte. follow instructions like a latte, but lift your steam wand closer to the surface of the milk, creating a velvety milk foam. your milk should double in size.
* combine - as you did with a latte, but spoon foam on top of steamed milk.
* garnish - great with fresh ground nutmeg on top.

FLAVORING:

* to make a flavored version of any of these drinks, try using an ounce of syrup (such as torani) in any flavor you like.
* my best selling drinks use:
-1 oz caramel; 1/2 oz vanilla
-1 oz white chocolate; 1/2 oz raspberry
-1 oz caramel; 1/2 oz butter rum; 1/2 oz banana

once you have made the coffee. you need then to steam approximatley half a pint of milk in a jug (best to bounce the jug up and down slowly to make a thick froth) then pour the hot milk into the coffe but use a spoon to make sure the froth doesnt pour in then when all the milk is in the coffee add the froth. perfect
