What is the best way, to make mate tea?
I made the mate tea like tha same way than the black or herbal tea, but the mate tea tast a little bit bitter and I use hot water but not boiling water. South American teach, fill the tea cup 2/3 with mate and than first with cold water and than hot water. How far taste than the tea with so much mate? Is this than an "tea espresso" ?? What is the best way?????

Yeah I mean Mate' Tea is bitter. It actually tastes like what I would imagine stale cigarette Tea to taste like.
I bought a bag and threw it away.
Typically it's brewed/ served in a gourd but can be cooked in a french press or espresso maker, or steeped as you would any tea.
