Specifically, in the United States does regular coke or diet coke sell better? Actual numbers would be great but if you have a reliable source of general information I would very much appreciate that too.

I am sorry I dont have numbers for you but work in a steakhouse/bar and regular coke sells way better...you wont believe this but at the fair this last yr. they had the NEW best selling fried food and yep! you guessed it..deep fried coca cola balls..they used coke syrup and fried up coke balls and made a drink out of it..sold for 4.50 a pop too!
