Does water contain electrolytes?!

Question:

Does water contain electrolytes?

Answers:
No. Water contains oxygen, hydrogen, and trace minerals.

Nope. If you want electrolytes, try Gatorade.

Technically, no. Water contains hydrogen and oxygen. Tapwater, on the other hand, has enough mineral content to constitute a weak electrolyte. Many athletes shun sports drinks in favor of tapwater as electrolyte of choice.
