What kind of coffee does McDonalds use for their gourmet coffee?!

Question:

What kind of coffee does McDonalds use for their gourmet coffee?

What brand and flavor do they use? I've seen posts saying the brand is "Higgins & Burkes" but what flavor or blend is it? I'm a big fan and would love to order the whole bean coffee for home! Thanks!

Answers:
I thought they were now using "Newman's Own"

not sure but the suppliers are called black and white coffee you could maybe contact them some how or alternativly ask in your local branch cause it will be written on the bag it comes in

My understanding is that it's a proprietary (secret) blend made only for McDonald's.
I'm pretty sure they probably own the coffee company and the plantation.
You're not going to be able to buy it to make it at home.
It's very good though, isn't it?

I'm not sure what kind they use, but it tastes awful.

I thought it was Green Dragon. However, it might vary by region who produces it, if it is a blend made specifically for McDonalds. Maybe you could ask someone at your local store, and see but I'll guess you wouldn't be able to buy any for your home.

I don't know what they use. But I have found some good coffee from these two sites.

Sawdust?

I really do not like their blend. It is definitely distinct. Nobody else has coffee that tastes like it.

I dont like it although it tastes like half cappu and mocha to me i guess they might have mixed two different brands
