Is it true that starbucks puts alcohol in their coffee?!

Question:

Is it true that starbucks puts alcohol in their coffee?

I heard that from a friend.. it seems like it wouldn't be legal.

Answers:
No, but it's coffees suck comparing to italian coffee.

Um no

It would be detected and tested for within two days at a thousandth of their sales volume-no.

Nope, it isn't true. Starbucks does not hold a liquor license.

Not unless it says it does. They put like "Sugar Alchohol" in their after-coffee mints (like in Dentyene Ice) but that doesn't count

Your friend sounds bored.

They could certainly afford it, with the prices the put on their drinks, but would would they spend the extra money to do so???????

So obviously not true. If they put alcohol in their drinks, they WOULD want you to know about it. AND pay extra for it.

You are right - it WOULD be illegal. No, it's not true.

no, otherwise, they wouldn't be able to sell it to minors

No, I doubt it.

If they did (and kept it secret), the consequences could be horrific. Someone could get in their car unawares, and kill someone in an accident as a result.

Good urban myth, though.

They do have a liqueur in the grocery stores and stuff but not at the coffee shop its self

That would be a unique ploy. But unfortunately they do not put any alcohol in their drinks.

no way

Oh, that it would be so!
but alas,
no.

nah its not true..now sure where u heard that lol

Nope
