i would suggest going to some different coffee shops then you will find some of the blends you like....then as you progress join a coffee club where you can have the different blends for your self....get a grinder and grind your own beans.......i am not to much into the flavored coffee but i like lattes but i prefer using the coffee syrups for the lattees.............your supermarket will also have a good asst of beans from different companies and the price is not to bad......the longer you enjoy good roasted coffee the more you will get into it...gevelia is a good coffee club i have been with over 20 years......it swedish...

well i love my coffee and drink it every day all day but if you want to try it at home get some folders Carmel drizzle and then add a little choc late Carmel creamer OMG that breakfast heaven !
or just get some regular coffee and add a shot or 2 of your favorite flav k .
or go to Starbucks and let them do it for you get a grande Carmel Maciatto (sp) yum yum !

Start with a homemade "mocha." Mix a pack of Swiss Miss with regular strength coffee (instead of hot water). That's what converted me. I stayed on that for a few months and then switched to cream and sugar. You'll probably load up on cr/sgr a lot at first and then taper off as you enjoy the flavor of coffee.

Or, if you really hate coffee, I've got a friend who gets her caffeine fix with 1/2 mug hot milk, hot chocolate mix, and 1/2 mug coffee.

Another treat I had (well after I'd become a coffee lover) was an espresso float. This one coffee shop in Tucson served it. It was two or three shots (you could choose) poured over at least two scoops (I don't remember that) of vanilla ice cream. If you make it yourself, probably the creamier the ice cream the better. That was so good! I wish I had an espresso maker just for that.

Welcome to the club!

cream n' suga..u can even get 'fancy schmany' and go with a flavored creamer.

Start off by drinking 1/2 hot coffee 1/2 hot milk add sugar.

Or coffee with the flavored creamers and sugar, sometimes you do not even have to add extra sugar when you use those creamers because they are really sweet and tasty by themselves. (I prefer the amaretto one) also good in hot chocolate as are the other flavors.

If the question is about drinking coffee, not the flavoured stuff, then start with weak coffee. Start by adding hot water to 1/4 cup of coffee. Every week add more coffee until you are drinking it straight up.
Those flavoured mocha, cappuccino drinks are not coffee, just fancy milkshakes. One to four coffees a day can be healthy. It is those flavoured additives that make the coffee bad for you.
I started drinking coffee at 40, was a double/double 2 cream 2 sugar. Now just regular. It was around that time I started to lose my hair. Figure the hairs got so much caffeine they were ready to party, but being attached to my body they got bored and jumped ship. Then they found out the only boogieing they would do is when the vacuum sucked them up. ;)

start with the simple. French vanilla is good far all coffee drinkers. If you don't like that one, just pick your favorite flavor and go from there. the best way to break into coffee is by starting with drinks that don't taste like coffee. if you slowly move towards it you will aquire the taste for any type of coffee you want. just don't start out with black coffee, you will never drink coffee again
