If black fluid is considered evil, then why are soft drinks black?!

Question:

If black fluid is considered evil, then why are soft drinks black?

From x-files, voodoo, to several movies about the Devil a black liquid often represents evil in its purest form. So why add enough carmel coloring to change soft drinks which are usually golden in color to black?

Answers:
In a way Curtis P kinda got me thinkin....well coke has no nutritonal value....its not good for you. But to say that because it is black, it is evil is further proof of the brainwashing that humanity has undergone as a whole. In the dictionary black means evil and wicked, while white is defined as pure and holy, is there anybody else who can see how the definition of a word can creep into our unconcious thought and how we began to associate things unconciously. I wonder if you believe that a roomful of black people are evil huh?

It's a trend or fad.

well it has no nutritional value... maybe it is evil!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHH!

they arent black thyre brown,if u dnt lik the colour pic an orange juice...

Black fluid is considered evil? Huh? I suppose you think a room full of black people is evil too eh?

Coke is blasphemiscious I guess..

because it's made from oil, Bush owns all the oil, so he owns all the soft drinks cause he planned 911, and made millions on the soft drinks that people drank after wards that were thirsty.

Because they are brown. Are you color blind I had a teacher that was it is very common in males, you should get checked. I have never a black fluid in my mouth not even from BLACK olives.

Some soft drinks are amber colored, red, orange, purple, or clear.

However, dark soft drinks and the alien black oil represented on The X-Files are two different things. They have nothing to do with each other. The makers of dark soda pop didn't make their product dark because of some evil intention.

Not all things that are black or dark are necessarily bad. And not all bad things are black. Evil can come in any color. Darkness is usually equated with evil but it is not an absolute rule. Coffee is dark, and coffee happens to be nectar from heaven.

Hope that helped.

Soft drinks are a light brown/caramel color, but when you put a lot of it in one glass, it looks black--if you put a little bit into a glass, you can see that it is caramel in color. Umm, soft drinks aren't evil, they're tasty, but I'm sure that if evil were to place itself in the form of a liquid in a glass, it wouldn't be from a Coke bottle. I think that your question is really interesting, but I'm sure that coke and all the other cola companies really care about a religious belief that black liquids are evil, they're just making it the way that they have for a few decades now. I hope that answers your question.
