Why mixing mentos with coca cola is extremely dangerous? A little boy died in Brazil after eating Mentos and drinking coca cola together. Some experiments showed that mxing mentos and coca cola will burst! Further explanations about this?

Mentos need to be banded. I have seen kids mixing them in a bottle.It shot up in the air 50 to 60 feet. It is the white stuff on the out side of the mentos that makes it burst.
