Is there anything that makes hot Tea taste better?!

Question:

Is there anything that makes hot Tea taste better?

I want to be able to like hot black tea but I cannot stand the smell/taste of it....what makes it taste better?

Answers:
Black tea is strong. Don't steep it too long. Use sugar, honey or sugar in the raw to sweeten it up. If it doesn't taste good, add a little more sweetener. I like a little cream with mine also.

If you still don't like it, maybe you should try a different type of tea. Green tea is really mild. Plain old Lipton is okay too.

I have not tried black tea. I like my tea with sugar and just the regular tea.

sugar sugar and more sugar

Honey

Try honey or lemon...and sugar.

Theres many flavors of black tea you could try!

of course, sugar, milk/cream,

and theres always...honey!!

Why do you want to like it? There are so many other teas and green tea is the healthiest for you.
If you are set on having to have black tea you could try one of the flavorings on the market that are made for ice tea - it may work. Try not making the tea very strong.
The english add milk or cream to their tea - yucky to me, but it is all up to the individual.
Try some Chi tea - it's delicious.

whellyou could add milk

crushed cardimoms!
crush 2-3 cardimoms, add it toboiling water before tea and let it boil for half a minute, it will smell lovely.

I like to use honey and milk or creamer. (I live in Alabama, so I get called "Yankee" a lot lol

Try a little bit of sugar/sweetner

Try adding lemon or orange zest into the water... Don't seep for too long, you can always add lemon or orange juice, milk, cream, honey, sugar... what ever you prefer.. I've used organic sugar and it tastes like honey....

But again it is all up to you...

sugar, honey, and cream

Sugar, and lots of it. Or add some milk to it - kinda' like coffee.
