Answers:
yes it was cool

its diet coke, not pepsi.

i have not tried and dont plan on it.

theres cool vids on youtube.

i think the myth busters tryed it i am pretty sure it worked.

It totally works.

Yea, like right after drinking a litre of diet coke I ate a couple of mentos and the next t thing I knew was I was on film at eleven.

Um i didn't try to drink it, but it went "boom!" and soda went everywhere

YESS!!

we put a whole pack f mentos in a liter of pepsi and shut it really quick. then we shook it and threw it reallly far and it exploded! be sure to do it quickley and throw it very far from you! :) have fun

It's actually Diet Coke and mentos. Though I haven't done it personally, I've seen it done and work.

You can't really drink it because there's not much left. Use a 2 litre bottle and a whole pack of mentos. The cola shoots about 20 feet in ithe air.

no i havent tried it. thanks. i will be sure to buy some mentos 2morrow and i am definetaly gonna try it.
hey i have a question can it be with coke?

The ONLY drink that this will work with is Diet Coke. And it has to be with the mint mentos. The mint mentos have a porous shell which helps the reaction with the Aspertame in Diet coke. And it TOTALLY works.

The people at eepybird saw this and decided to make a domino effect. The link below shows what happened when they did that.
And by the way what happens with the mentos is that they have very small craters that blend with the the caffeine or something else so the thing makes fizz on the craters of the mento creating fizz. When the diet coke can't hold the fizz anymore the 2 liter bottle squirts out fizz. And if you do it it won't injure you. You have to run from it as soon as you drop them in. Also if you put it in your mouth it will just come bursting out of your mouth not explode and kill you. I've seen Adam and Jamie ( on Mythbusters ) do it. My brother has even done it. SO IT WILL NOT KILL YOU!

I did with diet coke and nothing happened! Just a little fizz!!!!!!
What a let down....

no, thanks for the idea though

Don't do it, you can cause yourself severe internal injuries and possibly die from it!

Dangerous as it could kill you if you placed it in you mouth / stomach. It would rupture your stomach- don't think to try it.
I saw it on cable tv show, Mythbusters and they did it outdoors and dropped mentos in an open liter... and yes it explodes out like a volcano... and fast. If someone were to eat a mento and drink the pepsi you would either have permannent injury or DIE of instant death. They also stated you must not have people around and run away from container when you drop the mentos in. If you did in in the house every thing would be ruined.

DANGER WARNING- NEVER EAT MENTO AND DRINK PEPSI/COKE OR WHICHEVER SODA IT IS..

i have, indeed tryed this mixture myself i found the diet coke to be just as sweet but it was flat. (no fizz) as for the explosion you gota try it it is so cool the way the pop eruptes from the bottle

My friend did and it works!

I never heard of it but it sounds cool.. Maybe I will try it outside and let you know ....

not pepsi diet koke. yes i have! it wuz sooooooo funny. just dont do wat i did. do it outside!

yes it work the two liter blue up

I didn't, knowing what a mess it would make, but once my daughter did when I wasn't home, not knowing she had to ask me first, cause she didn't think it would make a mess. Well, she was wrong. I came home, and she was cleaning up soda that was EVERYWHERE. I didn't punish her, but I made her promise to never try any soda tricks again.

the pepsi goes flat - i used koolmints

Yes, It actually does fizz up and its like a guizer(sp?) out of the bottle
