Answers:
caffeine does prevent your body from properly utilizing calcium
so in a round about way yes it can make your bones weaker
but I would not call it "poison"

The main health impact of soft drinks is their lack of nutrition. Soft drinks displace milk in the diet, eliminating a major source of bone-building calcium. The bottom line with caffeine and bone health is, limit daily caffeine intake and get enough calcium every day!

diet soda is not good for you..PERIOD!! They have many unnatural ingredients and contain loads of salt, which in turn make you more hungry

NEVER HEARD OF THAT EXCEPT MAYBE THE OLD DIET DRINKS BACK IN THE 60S THERE STILL ARE SOME THAT HAVE ASPARTANE THAT IS SUPPOSE TO BE NO GOOD FOR YOU

I don't think there's any poison in diet pop....it's one of those myths going around. Ask myth busters!!! Soda doesn't make your bones weaker but it doesn't make your bones stronger either. Drink your milk!!!

Oh yeah. The soda companies are all in cahoots. They've been planning to posion the entire US population since the 1960's.

That's why people are dropping dead every day after their diet cokes.

uhh...nope....

there would be LOTS of people suing soda companys if that was true

Don't really know but i keep hearing that diet soda is bad for you.

It's not so much the soda that makes you bones weaker but the fact that people replace milk with soda, thereby not getting the calcium. I often see toddlers running around with coke in their bottle, not milk! So, so sad! Yes I know I'm infuriating the vegans, but oh well. We all have our own beliefs!!

Diet Soda like almost all the beverges in the market has a great amount of sodium. If you just drink diet soda, it is a fact you might have severe diseases, that′s a fact. Just try to drink water instead of diet sodas..
