Thoughts on Coke?!

Question:

Thoughts on Coke?

I'm writing a term paper on Coca-Cola and the Coca-Cola company, and would be interested to hear anyone's opinions on Coke - as a concept, a company, or just as a product. What is the idea or mental image that you associate with Coke?
Cheers in advance!

Answers:
The twisted and fancy bottle !!!!!!

i think that it deteriorates your teeth

Coke is DELICIOUS!!! I love it!

the mental image is about Polor bears

Coke really is a poison. Look at the ingredients.

Its a very good tasting soda, but have we thought of the expense it is to other countries, such as third world countries where Coa cola factories are built there and sometimes do harm to local people?

When I think Coke, I think of the iconic Coca-Cola bottle and old time vending machines with the steel hooks for taking off the cap. However the drink itself tastes like a sugarry solvent at best and best used for cleaning chrome bumpers and polishing brass.

It is an important part of our history, and i love urban legends about it, I associate it with a break during my day, and I'm fascinated by the fact that it is just flavored water with a gigantic advertising machine behind it.

I love you, Coke.

i love Coke.. but at the same time it is unhealthy and damages your teeth.... another thing that comes to mind is that whole story about how they used cocaine in it back in the day...

empty calories

I would advise you to read a book called Syrup by Maxx Barry, it's wicked n amazing!

I love coke! and i dont care if it rotts away your insides....I just like it and thats it.

IF THEY EVER BAN COCA COLA THEN I WILL KILL MY SELF!

its become part of american culture.

I hate those polar bears.

i did an experiment once and i compared the sugar percentage of coca-cola, pepsi and pop cola. i found out that coca-cola has the largest percentage of sugar among the three. about 16-20g of sugar per 12 oz. i'm not sure if this is true however because i'm just a high school student!!! haha... but from the taste alone.. you can really tell. you can do this too.

Nothing and I mean nothing beats McDonalds coke with heaps of ice.

My name is Larry J7 and I am a Coke addict !!!
(Hello, LarryJ7)
I had my first Coke when I was but the littlest of tykes
and before my thirteenth birthday I was indulging on such a regular basis that I had to take on jobs of cutting neighborhood lawns and carrying out the trash to support my habit !!
This is an addiction that I held as a very private thing for many years and actually (and I don't know how) carried on with a fairly productive lifestyle and keeping this "thing" from my coworkers and associates through many phases of a number of jobs and positions throughout my lifetime !!
Now, as a business owner and a fairly respected member within my community-- I have felt a need to "own up" to this vice that has cost me thousands of dollars over the years and taken literally months of time out of my life---ten or twelve minutes at a time for decades !!!
I have been fighting a loosing battle against this thing and have all but given up on ever being Coke free----and it only serves to make me feel THAT much worse about myself and my weaknesses when I hear people talking about me and my kind on television and other media (i.e. The Coke Addicts) !!!

I hope this helps you in some way and I hope you get to the bottom of why it is that something SO addictive and life altering is legally sold and distributed through out the world with such abandon and with evidently the seal of approval from the very governments that say they are doing every thing they can to STOP the production and USE of Coke in America and the world !!!

coke kills
it disintegrates your insides
i don't understand how carbonated liquid and sugar got to be so popular
and its actuallly in demand?? i don't understand it. not at all

but then again all of this applies to other fizzy drinks as well, not just coke.

caine lol
good to the last drop or hit
lol

I think that what alot of people dont know or dont realize is when coca cola was first invented, it wasnt in a laboratory. It was in a pharmacy at the soda counter. The way people lived was completely different than it is now, and a product like this became so popular because it was unique! BUT if it wasnt for a man named Asa Candler none of would know what coca cola is. The whole history of it it amazing considering its only soda! The Santa Clause we know today wouldnt be who he is without coca cola and haddon Sundblom, who was an artist hired to create an advertisement.

I love coca-cola. But its really addicting. I dont like their diet cokes because of after taste
