Taurine is the horrible sickly sweet taste in Red Bull and similar drinks is it not? So probably the huge amounts of sugar in them rather than the chemical itself I would think. Best stay clear of the vile stuff.

no it will not make you gain weight. it actually detoxes your body and gets rid of bile.
i hope not. i just drank a full 2 litre bottle of blue WKD, the morrisons one, and that said contains taurine.
... o well... back to a strict diet 2moz then!
