How come it is still water and not juice?!

Question:

How come it is still water and not juice?

I am sick of these companies petling this junk. I believe if it is flavor and has any calories it should be called juice, no matter the color.

Answers:
I hear you!! Ugh! And then people can say "Hey I drink water". It's not water. And yes, most "juice" is not juice. But "Artificially flavored and colored sugar water" doesn't sell so well!

I dont think anything should be called juice unless it came from a fruit (or vegi)

Juice is a verb.
To Juice

Juice is only juice if its been juiced.

Juice is the liquid naturally contained in plants, which is extracted to make a beverage.

Hence artificially flavored drinks cannot be termed as juice.
