Why do people drink mineral water? It tastes bad, doesn't it?!

Question:

Why do people drink mineral water? It tastes bad, doesn't it?

Answers:
It's good for you and most of it tastes great - some like it carbonated (with bubbles), some non-carbonated but that doesn't really affect the taste.

Perrier is a mineral water you've likely tried - if not giver'er a go - you may like it.

I think mineral water is really good actually. Its good while talking pills.

Only some of them

Mineral water with bubbles is refreshing and it's good for you.
Our bodies need water folks !

Some of them taste pretty darn good and good for you.

i think mineral water is better than the regular water it's like more healthy and all the people like it
i didn't try it before i can't tell you isn't good or bad sorry

Heck no! It's really good, but it does depend on the brand. I like the naturally carbonated with fresh lemon or lime. Better than soda.

Because they are thirsty.

I think it tastes bad, but almost all waters have some minerals in them. Its an acquired taste.... like diet drinks!!

Well isn't it more healthy? (idk)
I know alot of people like it.....
I don't see why tho, I don't like it either!
I know some people put Crystal Lite mixes in it...

I'd much rather drink regular water tho! =/

FUNNY!

Actually, that would depend on the minerals in the water. Some mineral springs are high in sulfur and STINK of rotten eggs. Other mineral waters are highly sought after for curative properties.
Perrier is from France and contains Calcium, Magnesium and Bicarbonate. Other waters contain other minerals which give them individual qualities.
If you were to rinse your mouth with hydrogen peroxide, (make sure you DON"T SWALLOW, or you WILL get sick), you will get an idea as to what PURE water tastes like. Most people do NOT like it. The impurities in the water give it flavor and make it desireable. Those impurities are sometimes the minerals naturally found in the water. Try it, you will find some you like.

i really enjoy it

when i here the word mineral water i always think of the mineral build up in my hot water tank. And think i ll get kidney stones or something. So i say away from it.
