Question:

Where is the water gallon EXP date located?

my mom bought new zephyrhills water gallons and on the bottom it says :01 11 07 <--- is it the EXP date or the day it was made??

Answers:
Probably the day it was packaged, water doesn't expire.

well beens today is 1/20/07 that most be the day it was made

water dont go bad if water went bad how can we live the water been here for millions and millions of years

there is nothing in water to make it go bad
hydrogen/oxygen if they went bad were in trouple

That is the day it was packaged, water usually lasts 1 yr after that date!

water does not exp
that was most likely the sell by date
because it only a certain amount of time a product can stay in the store

It is the date of manufacture/bottled. Unopened treated bottled water in plastic containers or poly lined aluminum cans doesn't have an expiration date. If just placed in unlined aluminum cans it must be consumed within 18 months of date of manufacture, This is to prevent excessive leaching of aluminum metal into the water. This method of bottling is rarely used.
