Here's even more: Tea is another common source of caffeine. Tea usually contains about half as much caffeine per serving as coffee, depending on the strength of the brew. Certain types of tea, such as black and oolong, contain somewhat more caffeine than most other teas.

Coffee has more cafeine, people try to say tea does but it's just not true.

More in tea ... Used to make me smile My mother would refuse coffee in the evening quoting cafeine and sleep loss and then say but I will have a cup of tea. if you are making it.... the mind Boggles.

Tea.but depends how strong you brew them

Some teas CAN contain more caffiene than SOME coffees.
On average, though they do not.

The most commonly known sources of caffeine are coffee, cocoa beans, kola nuts and tea leaves. For children and young adults, the primary sources of caffeine are tea and soft drink products, although caffeine intake for adults 25 and over is mostly from coffee beverages.

Caffeine levels in popular products are as follows:

? Coffee, 8oz drip 104-192 mg
? Tea, 8oz brewed 20-90
? Iced Tea, 8 oz 9-50
