Which is more healthy green tea, red tea, or black tea?!

Question:

Which is more healthy green tea, red tea, or black tea?

Answers:
White, green, and black teas are all made from the same plant. The difference is that they are picked at different stages during the plant's development, in the order listed above (ie white tea is a younger leaf than green tea). Also, they each have different levels of oxidation, again, in the same order. The longer it is allowed to grow and mature, the more caffiene and the more anti-oxidants it has.

From the research that I did, red tea is the same thing as black tea. Red tea is what it was originally called in China.

The definition of "healthy" really is subjective. As I said, black has more antioxidants (good), but also more caffiene (bad, physiologically), so it really depends on what you are looking for, although many tea companies have a caffiene-removing process that will not substantially decrease the antioxidant power.

as far as i know Grean Tea is the healthiest

Hi,

Green tea is more healthy.

Green tea is loaded with antioxidants. Black tea is partially -fermented , aged green tea and has all kinds of bad things in it. Never heard of red tea. Are you referring to herbal teas? They are great, and some are used as body toners and remedies for various ailments. Best of luck.

I think its the Green Tea!

green tea. any other non herbal tea is made from the leaves after they are fermented for certain periods of time or allowed to ferment in other flavors or natrual things the fermentation depleats the amount of antioxidents but not to nothing so they are all good for you. and no fermentation does not make the tea alcoholic

Green tea is suppose to have more antioxidants.

GREEN TEA! ABSOLUTELY, WITHOUT A DOUBT!=)

Green tea is supposed to have more anti-oxidents, but it does have caffeine as all leaf teas do. If you are sensitve, drink herbal teas, or decaf tea.

green tea, cause it has less carbon.

i did n't hear about the black tea but i will tell you stick with the drink which has caffeine free

I think that green tea is actually healthy for you but, I'm not sure don't quote me on that one.

Green tea will make you green and young because it has antioxidant!

"L o n g I s l a n d Tea" is by far the BEST......

Well m not an expert, but i think Green tea is the healthiest.

white eta has the least impurites and highest caffeine

Any. All teas are anti-oxidant.

green tea. red tea like pu erh supposely to be good as well. all tea should be good! but especially green, white, oolong, and pu erh!

Overall--green tea.

There are more than 3000 studies on health benefits from tea and green tea is more powerful than black tea (red tea usually is not Camellia sinensis) in almost all studies.

There are a few exceptions: black tea prevents up to 75% strokes, and green tea seems to top out at 65% prevention of strokes, and black tea may be more powerful at stopping cholera.

On the other hand, green tea is much more powerful with cancer prevention and virus protection including HIV/AIDS.

Green tea. It's even proven that green tea actually helps the body against cancer cells
