Can drinking coffee make you more tired?!

Question:

Can drinking coffee make you more tired?

Answers:
I have read that it can cause you to be more tired after the caffeine wears off than you were before you drank it, however that takes up to 6 hours so naturally you'd be more tired.

I'd say yes, after the initial "jolt" wears off but it's anecdotal based on my experience and I'm sure everyone has their own take on it.

Actually yes, if that is the ONLY liquid you consumed in the day-- you would then be dehydrated and that would cause you to be sleepy and tired.

yeah. often get sleepy after morning coffee.

yes.. it sure does..

This happens to me. The initial burst of energy I get from drinking coffee wears off and I feel even more tired than I originally did.

I guess it can. Can you imagine what it would do if you were to eat the coffee beans? I found this article on coffee history that says they did. Wow. check it out.

Also the second link is a neat blog that has to do with coffee.

Once you are an caffeine addict . You have a high then a low. I love the high and can not live without my joe...The low sometimes happens at a really wrong time. usually drinking water helps. Also I replace coffee with a diet pill called Hydroxycut.
