times 2 better

I suppose it's partly because it's seen as a Canadian icon - so going there is patriotic in a way. Even though it's now owned by the Wendy's corporation.

They also make the best doughnuts around.

I also think the coffee has addictive substances in it (other than caffeine), but that's just me.

i am a candian, living here too and i can assure you that i think that tim hortons anything is crap!!!!!! the coffee tastes liek dirty sock water, the tea is like cup of steaming bathwater and all thier food tastes like cigarette smoke.......so, not everyone goes crazy for tim hortons.......and i can tell you i know many more people that feel the same way as i do!!!!

not all of us do, I think is gross!!!
There are rumours that they add extra caffeine to it, I don't know, have you ever had one, what do you think?

i have not like tim hortons since the 70's and still do not
their speality dough buts were good eclairs and thing but now you will pay me how much

I think that its cause they make very delicious coffee and donuts too.

Although I am not a doughnut fan, I like Tim Horton's Ice Cap. It's probably better than any of Starbuck drinks.

Because it's really good. I don't live in Canada, but I still like it. I don't care what they put in their coffee, it makes it very good.

I Love Tim Hortons myself, and I am from Michigan. However, I was visiting Canada this past summer and noticed everyone had Tim Hortons.Even when there were Starbucks next door. Maybe they have good taste? lol

The coffee (regular) is awesome, and nobody makes better doughnuts.
By the way, to an answerer - Wendy's doesn't own it any more.

I'm a Canadian and I don't.

Generalization = discrimination.

Starbucks is in Canada. So is Timothy's Coffees of the World. And Second Cup is a Canadian company that rivals the quality of Starbucks both in terms of what they serve and in terms of the service offered.
