But I dont know how people can have it with their lunch either! For me, coffee is something in between meals or after lunch, or , as you said, with cake or something small like that.

Other than that Coffee Coffee Coffee please!!

coffee strong and sweet. i drink bustello.. puerto rican coffee that will knock most gringos on there butts. morning noon and night....its the blood of the gods. haha

Coffee with sweet things (esp chocolate) and tea with everything else.

I can't stand coffe (although love the smell of ground coffee).
The only tea that's good is Earl Grey (loose tea NOT T bags)
taken with no milk or sugar.

I only ever drink water with food but im a coffee drinker. In fact at the age of 28,ive never even tasted tea, only green tea. (odd i know )

tea first drink in the morning then coffee all day .. but yes as you say with a meal no !! the taste is to strong to go with the food (i normally have water)

i drink tea, my dad drinks alot of coffee a day,

Coffee and tea only with sweet things, like cake or biscuit. Cold drinks with all other food/meals. That's the way I like it!

like both esp coffee in the morning tea after dinner tho

Tea every time!
Coffee is OK now and again preferably with loads of milk or cream.

tea....

coffee in the morning to get the world kick started but tea for the rest of the day and i'm with you on the food thing

TEA!!!

Geeze, my mum will pester me for saying that.
She's a coffee person.

I never liked the taste of tea, I only drink coffee, but it's nearly uber stylish now just to drink tea...

tea affects the absorption of iron in your food

i love tea anytime
coffee i like a latte its not too strong

blekkk=coffee..
i LOVE sweet ICE tea! :)
or i can drink hot tea too.
only starbucks coffee i drink!

I prefer them both alone... and my tea with just a twist of lemon only and my coffee "Butter toffee with 3 southern pecan creamers, 2 table spoons of steamed milk topped off with marshmallows," from 7ll only "talking about the bomb!" Although I'm sensitive to caffeine so I can only drink coffee as early as 4am and not pass if I want to go to bed at a decent hour or at all for that matter... But I do agree with having it with food, it's grouse except sweats.

Coffee in the morning, tea in the afternoon/evening
I cant drink any kind of hot drink if im eating- i get too thirsty!

tea goes with anything, coffee with sweet things!
you know the caffine in tea and coffe can stop your body absorbing iron though, so shouldn't be drank with a meal.

Tea

Coffee in the morning and with sweet things, but tea with meals and at night.

it`s not a time of day thing...more a mood. But i personally don`t like to drink anything hot during a meal and prefer non-dairy after food.

Tea, strong, white, 2 sugars. On its own, with biscuits and cake, or better yet... with a fry up!!! I generally prefer a cold drink with a meal though.

I like coffee first thing in the morning. In the late afternoon and evening I prefer tea. Tea is soothing (depending on the type) and if there is anything called a "comfort drink" (non-alcoholic) it would be, for me, tea.

I don't tend to drink coffee; do drink lots and lots of rooibos tea, though. It's not got any caffeine in, very low in tannins, and high in anti-oxidants, so is good for you. It tastes a bit like "normal" black tea, but you don't have to scrape the tannin off your teeth afterwards!

Tea with semi-skimmed milk (otherwise it just smells and tastes of cream)!

You can always tell who the coffee drinkers are, they smell of coffee, esp when they speak!
