Can someone tell me the advantages and disadvantages of drinking coffee?

Answers:
PRO's it wakes you up,makes you alert, today a study came out that it makes you smarter (actually its on the front Yahoo page). CON's you get addicted to it you cant make your day without it, to much is not healthy, makes higher blood preassure

Wakes me up.Disadvantage is I get shaky if I drink TOO much.

The advantages are it makes you stay awake and the taste the disadvantages are it's bad for you and eventually you'll fall asleep!

advantages
caffenine gets you to wake up and function, also keeps your body up

coffee is healthy because its a bean and its nutritious

disadvantages

addictive
caffenine can cause head aches and side effects
may cause cancer but not certain

A couple cups a day does not really hurt you, but too much caffine (especially Mountain Dew? and enegry drinks) will cause hypertension and worse. Advantages? I can think of no advantage in drinking something that will make your heart race.

Advantages, according to my opinion - none (yeah, it keeps you awake against your body's needs). Disadvantages - too much (over 3 small cups a day) will raise your blood pressure, will narrow down your blood vessels which can lead to a stroke. Coffee is a very light drug that gives the body the idea that it can go on working when it really cannot, so it will work but it is dew to brake down sometime. If you drink coffee as a social habit , better don't.

Well here it is , Coffee makes you active, so many people drink it to be brisk.I am not trying to tell that coffee is not good. There should be no milk added to the drink as there are some proteins in milk that dominate over the proteins(Name not sure) in coffee that are needed. Factories add 'chickory' to coffee as chickory is not good for our bones. So If you want to drink it without milk.
