Cuisinart.West Bend has been making coffee makers for years,like anything else the longer things are manufactured for sell to the public.These manufacturers constantly look for ways to make them cheaper.West Bend is one of the cheapest made coffee makers
Ive had the cuisinart for a couple of years and its worked great for me. no expirence with the west bend. I do know i dont like the flavor of the "fast brew" variety pots. And the beans or brand of coffee and the water have more to do with flavor than the pot.
I think the cuisinart is best. I found a review on their 12 cup model.
I also have a Cusinart. It makes great coffee, and I have never had any problems with it (although I have only had it for a month lol).
