just a little fact, one of the top generals in the U.S. Armed forces said we will be having major sucess in four months, and (Coincidence) wink wink, the democrats said they want to pull out by four months. They just hate to be wrong, and will even sacrifice a war so they dont look bad

we should definitely stay in. the only thing we going to accomplish by pulling our troops out of Iraq is prolonging our soldiers lives. yes, this is a big deal, but to pull out of Iraq for the mere reason of protecting those who protect us is completely pointless and selfish. every person in the US Army has proudly made the choice the die for us back home if need be, and we should respect that instead of attempting to take that away from them under the pretense of 'saving our soldiers lives'. They need the support of their families and their Country to protect them to their best ability. if we withdraw now, Iraq could easily turn right around and attack us in America, where people who have not been trained in combat would be forced to defend themselves. by staying in Iraq, we are building up a country that will eventually be a strong ally, and cease to be a country that holds a strong terrorist threat to America and the rest of the world.
The only way to stop the spread of terrorism is to locate its source through the expungement of its branches. That is what we are doing in the Middle East. By building up Iraq's government, meanwhile gradually giving the people its responsibility, we are eliminating the option of this country becoming, once again, a base of terrorist activity. By staying in Iraq, we are confronting terrorism on its own homeland instead of ours.

bush sold us a bill of goods. time to bring the troops home to their families..this is pointless..
I think that we should have never gone in there in the first place, but now that we are in so deep, we can't pull out yet and abandon Iraq. We have to clean up the mess we made, so to speak.

I do not supprt any war, especially war in Iraq, because it's pointless, like Vietnam or Korea. I'm not saying US will loose, I'm saying that many good American soldiers will die. People would say they dies because they're defending their county. Defend from what? The war is in Iraq, not in the US. If the war occur in America, that will be a whole different story. I'd say they died because they were attacking other country (or being told to attack). And don't say the best defence is a good offence BS.
And with regards to your addition, what kind of success will America achieve?
I am all for pulling our troops out. He should have never sent them in the first place. We all want world peace but do we have to kill each other for it?

No I don't support the war. All the money that has been spent in Iraq, could have and should have been used here to help the poor and homeless. All the people who have died, Iraq wasn't a threat to us. We should pull and start mind our business, we need to take care of home (US).
