Lipton green tea?!

Question:

Lipton green tea?

If i drank hot green tea in the mornings would it increase my metablolism

Answers:
Green tea is a good choice. Along with regular exercise your metabolism will increase significantly...

Only if you are holding it while running

Green tea appears to boost metabolism slightly, but nobody has documented that drinking it helps people lose weight," says Adriane Fugh-Berman, M.D., an associate professor of physiology and biophysics at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Only one published study, a Swiss trial conducted on 10 men, has tested the effect of green tea on metabolism. Extrapolating the results of this research, Fugh-Berman says that if you drink four or five cups of green tea a day, "you might burn an extra 60 calories--but that's not a lot." It's about the same number of calories you'd burn in six minutes of jogging.

Part of the metabolism boost can be attributed to the caffeine in green tea, but results from the Swiss study suggest that some other substance is also at work, since green tea seems to increase metabolism slightly more than the equivalent amount of caffeine.

I like this tea but..

my girlfriend says green tea can help with energy as it has for the Chinese for millenia but for metabolism regulation you should drink 'red tea' called Pu-Erh..and water and nothing else

Don't know, but get "Uncle Lees " green tea,at Walmart, its better.

yes it will and it will also increase your apitite

yes, its also a natural antioxidant. It is much more healthy than coffee, which is like a drug that eats your stomach.

It might help, but so will other things. A good diet with fruits and veggies and lots of excersise.
