How do you kick the Pepsi habit?!

Question:

How do you kick the Pepsi habit?

I am a twenty year addict and have recently come to realize how much money is being spent and how harmful it is. I would like to know a realistic way to stop.

i stopped by thinking of how fat you would get...and thinking of diabetes...also start to drink nestle pure water drinks...they are water....they come in orange splash, lemon and raspberry and i believe grape.....hell i did it..if i can do it...I'm 42 years old....and i just stopped drinking all soft drinks cold turkey....you can too!!! its no big deal...you can do it too.....you may get a few headaches a few days...but buy some Tylenol the first couple of days..and that is all....its been about 6 months for me.....and guess what....not only have i saved money...i lost weight....hahahhah

Just stop drinking it. It's not addictive.

Carry water with you and every time you feel the urge for pepsi ,simply sip water.

Stop buying the pepsi, if you don't have it , then you can't drink it

the best way to stop is slowly through moderation. Instead of 6 cans a day knock it down to three etc.... Every other time you have a yearning for pepsi get a big class of water or tea. Slowly take away the pepsi over time so that you wont miss it.

If you really want to stop the habit just stop drinking pepsi, drink water instead. But pepsi once in a while isn't so bad, and besides if you drink it less often it might taste better.

NO! NEVER!! NOT A CHANCE!!!
I'll never give up my Pepsi.

Seriously - simply stock up on bottled water, or even just refill several Pepsi bottles with tap water. The biggest trick is to keep the water as handy as the Pepsi has been.

Drink coke..lol just kidding.
try 7up or sprite... they have no caffeine.

Get into a habbit of drinking 6 bottles or glasses of water before you have a can or soda.

Try out some different juices, but keep in mind. Soda is cheaper then juice. So you have to stop the soda habit for health reasons rather then cost.

I don't know what world they live in but Pepsi or any drink with caffeine is addictive. Soft drinks can make you gain up to 20 pounds a year. I was drinking ice tea and it doesn't have as much caffeine but it is the same thing basically . I would have to have a glass first thing in the morning and then keep drinking all day and a glass before bed. What I did is to start by slowly cutting back and drink less every day. If you stop drinking cold turkey you will get headaches. Try drinking water, if you don't like it try something without caffeine. You can do it ! It is a hard thing to do you will just have to slowly adjust your body not to need it. Good Luck!

I gave it up very easy just stop buying it, if you do not buy it there will not be any for you to drink. but you have to really want to stop drinking Pepsi then it will be a lot easier Good Luck
