Does milk help yuh' sleep?!

Question:

Does milk help yuh' sleep?

Answers:
The few degrees that this drink might raise your body temperature is often enough to trigger the slowdown response we have on warm days. [In other words warm milk will make you tired. As to if you were to drink cold milk it might not make you as tired.] In addition there is anecdotal evidence that the warm milk reminds us of the time when we were infants, hence "sleep like a baby." [Tryptophan: the same ingredient that makes everyone sleepy after Thanksgiving dinner is present in milk.]

If it's warm.

Warm milk does

no gatorade does i luv it lol

yes

I've heard that before.

Actually it wakes me up. I usually drink a glass of cold milk in the morning and I am awake. I guess it could help me sleep but it would have to be warm (not sour) and have a cookie.

hot milk does..........
mmmmmm............

Warm milk can actually. By heating the milk you activate an enzyme that aids the sleeping process. Try it and see for yourself.

I have always been told if you warm it up it will help you fall a sleep

warm milk sounds gross but it helps you sleep im not sure how it helps but it does...

It certainly works for my 3 year old.
