What is the optimal temperature for frothed or steam milk for a latte?!

Question:

What is the optimal temperature for frothed or steam milk for a latte?

Answers:
160 degrees

I don't have a steam frother, but I do froth my own milk for a "latte" quite successfullly with a hand held frother (basically a battery operated whip).

I start with a cup of strong dripped coffee, and add milk (2% or whole) to it. Then I froth a small amount of non-fat milk in a separate cup and pour the hot coffee into the froth... for some reason, the fat free milk froths much higher than fuller fat milk, and the frothing is best if the milk is really cold.
