is this true, or does it matter whether its warm or cold??

Answers:
Actually, you would do better drinking cold water. Think about it, if you put something cold inside your body, your body has to burn calories to produce the energy to warm up the cold water you just put in it. Same is true on the outside, you burn more calories in cold weather than in warm, because it takes more energy for your body to keep warm in colder weather.

Just don't drink too much water at once, you could just stretch out your stomach and make yourself feel hungrier in the long run. Stick to 8-8oz glasses throughout the day.

Yes it burns more calories because the body has to warm it up.

I can not think the temp you drink it at will make much differance the idea is it fill you up so you eat less.

First of all, you want to make sure the water you drink is QUALITY water. Tap water and bottled purified waters contain toxic chlorine. Use spring or steam distilled filtered water. Yes, it should be room temperature. When you drink it cold, it slows your metabolism by cooling the system down. It is beneficial to add a squeeze of fresh lemon or lime juice, or cucumber slices to increase metabolism. Good luck on your quest. Eating healthy, organic fruits and vegetables will help too. Processed foods contain many artificial ingredients that the body does not know how to eliminate, so it stores these toxins in the fat cells, leading to illnesses.

Drinking water is good for you to begin with especially when you are trying to lose weight. This way you are eliminating sodas and other high sugary soft drinks. Now I have heard that if you drink ice water you body had to use more energy to first warm the water which in turn uses more calories and requires more metabolism to digest the water. Good Luck...

If you drink ice cold water it removes the minerals from your body...so always drink water at room temperature.

DON'T DRINK COLD WATER!!!!

If you want to use water therapy( yes it has a name) as a way to lose weight use luke warm or tap( room temperature) water. Best way is to wake up an hour or two earlier than your normal time and drink 1 Litre( not more then 1 litre) of water in the morning. By the time you are ready to go out to work or whatever , most of it would have been pissed out of your body.

Cold water does nothing but retard your digestive system and clogs the stomach and intestines with fatty acids ( stuff that makes up fat) It reduces the action of stomach acids and enzymes such as lipase, causing a bulidup of fat.

If you can, all together give up drinking cold stuff esp with meals.. The chinese, japanese both drink tea with their meals and how many fata** chinese and japanese do you see compared to us softdrink/ice-water drinkers? With meals develop a habit of tap water if not luke warm water/tea. Within weeks you'll feel that your digestion has become better( no more heartburn nights) and if you properly follow water therapy you'll have weight loss as well*

*Warning: May cause excessive peeing and sh*tting for a week, until your body adjusts to healthier water level in your body.
*Weight loss occurs if water therapy is partnered with mild exercise and a healthy diet
