Ice Tea vs Water?!

Question:

Ice Tea vs Water?

Can Lipton's Cold Brew Ice Tea replace water for my daily water intake? I do not sweeten the tea, but occasionally add lemon.

Answers:
absolutely, any water counts as long as it is not carbonated...iced tea might actually be healthier because of the antioxidants

Yes it can. As long as there is no sugar or there is a sugar replacement you can substitute it for water intake. You can also substitute sugar free drinks such as Crystal Light,etc...

Sounds good to me. The caffiene though is a diuretic so you could lose some nutrients.

If it's decaf, yes. Anything with caffiene will actually leech the water out of your body.

Can I have a glass of Ice Tea please? I can't get enough of it. However I don't know if would fully replace your water intake. I am going to brew some ice tea right now did you need another glass?

yes but remember the tea has caffeine which is addictive.
it is also very acidic which affects your digestive system.
water is better but tea is better than coke or juice or milk.

I would say no. Since the tea has caffeine, you're actually dehydrating your body. You would need to double your water intake to make up for the caffeine. Maybe if it is a decaf version...you could.

Yes, i do the same, water is bland, and it sound like you aren't!

Only Ice Tea that is Lipton

I know people who do that. They seem healthy.

ice tea IS better 4 u than soft drinks-if its decaf
